When it comes to turning big ideas into reality at Intel Ignite Tel-Aviv, Roni is at the heart of it all. She plays a crucial role in building and refining the accelerator’s programs, from their strategy and operations to their alumni engagement and marketing efforts. Although she wears many hats, one thread runs through all of Roni’s work in the program: her passion for creating long-term relationships and pushing boundaries for startups.
One of Roni’s standout contributions is the work she does to shape the alumni strategy. Within the Israel program itself, she leads a 12-week strategy course covering important topics like market entry strategy for startups, and storytelling for founders. From the day founders enter the program to long after they leave, Roni keeps them connected to the Intel Ignite community, ensuring that every member receives ongoing support and value. As she puts it, once someone comes into the program, it’s for life.
Her approach to alumni engagement focuses on building meaningful, lasting relationships with over 200 founders across 88 companies, offering them guidance and resources as they grow beyond the program.
Roni took part in devising the strategy for Intel Ignite’s Customer Advisory Board (CAB), working closely with Ofer Lior and Alon Leibovich to shape its foundation. Together, they identified the Fortune 500 companies to invite and crafted a strategy to ensure the board would provide value to both the corporate leaders and the startups involved. Roni was the point person on the first-ever CAB meetup in New York, managing everything from strategy and logistics to ensuring the right startups were present to engage with the CIOs and CISOs.
On the marketing front, Roni also has an impact on how Intel Ignite is perceived by the wider deep tech ecosystem in Israel. She develops strategies to raise brand awareness among potential partners and within the startup world. In addition, she has taken a leading role in driving Intel Ignite’s international expansion by building the foundational strategy for the London program. She helped to establish the infrastructure in a way that would best serve the needs of the ecosystem.
Roni works closely with other sites and global teams to ensure that they all stay fully aligned with Intel Ignite’s vision and mission. Roni’s work at Intel Ignite has left a lasting imprint on the program, and the global community it serves.
Before joining Intel Ignite, Roni worked closely with startups and founders to source innovative solutions and connect them with relevant business units. Through this experience, she developed an understanding of what makes a successful founder, and a viable technology. This fueled her desire for deeper, long-term relationships with founders, which she has fully embraced at Intel Ignite. Her work revolves around fostering meaningful connections with startups throughout their growth, providing them with ongoing support long after they complete the program.
