As Chief of Staff and Global Operations Manager, Irit ensures that the Intel Ignite program runs smoothly across its global hubs in Israel, Europe, the US, and the UK. To make this happen, she oversees vital operational processes including budget management, supplier relationships, legal, and making sure that each team has the support they need to measure and optimize their own performance. Irit works to continuously improve the program by focusing on metrics like alumni success and funding achievements, as well as integrating program feedback from startups who graduate from the program.
Irit’s diverse background spans finance, project management, R&D, and M&A integration. This gives Irit a broad skill set that she relies on to overcome complex operational challenges. One of her notable achievements was the role she played in Intel’s acquisition and integration of Granulate, where she served as Granulate’s Director of Operations. She built foundational processes from the ground up across multiple domains. She implemented efficient workflows and systems in areas such as finance, supplier management, IT, real estate, legal and goals management and team performance tracking, ensuring the organization could scale effectively and sustainably. Through this process, she bridged the gap between Intel’s corporate structure, and Granulate’s more flexible startup approach, helping both companies towards a successful synergy.
Before joining Intel Ignite, Irit gained over 15 years of experience at Intel, beginning with a decade in finance, where she owned Financial Planning & Analysis, PnL, pricing etc. Her expertise in finance laid the foundation for a shift into strategic positions, where she led competitive analysis projects and directed product roadmapping efforts for wireless technologies. This experience ignited her passion for R&D, which later guided her move to the Wi-Fi Software department, where she took on operational management and project leadership, overseeing daily operations, SW quality, and IoT growth portfolio.
Irit’s enthusiasm for continuous learning and her strategic problem-solving skills have established her as a vital contributor to Intel Ignite, where she advances operational excellence and champions innovation.
